Originating from Flint, Michigan in 1969, this top selling American rock group of the 70’s is “COMIN’ TO YOUR TOWN TO HELP YOU PARTY IT DOWN”. Grand Funk Railroad is extremely excited to be touring in 2024 marking a 55-year milestone. After playing to millions of fans on the band’s tours from 1996 to 2023, Grand Funk’s THE LOCO-MOTION TOUR 2024 will continue to reach both new and long-time fans.
Grand Funk Railroad, the iconic rock band from Flint, Michigan, is set to embark on "The LOCO-MOTION TOUR 2024" to celebrate their 55-year milestone. Formed in 1969, the band became a top-selling American rock group of the 70s with their high-energy performances and hits like “We’re an American Band.” Founding members Don Brewer (vocals, drums) and Mel Schacher (bass) are still at the helm, joined by a stellar lineup: Max Carl (vocals, 38 Special), Mark Chatfield (guitar, Bob Seger’s Silver Bullet Band), and Tim Cashion (keyboards, Bob Seger, Robert Palmer).
Known for their explosive live shows, Grand Funk Railroad will bring their classic sound to both new and longtime fans across the USA. With their timeless hits and unmatched stage presence, the band continues to prove why they’re still “The American Band.”
